Henry Stephens Salt was a British author and humanitarian. Among his publications were writings against slavery, corporal punishment, and vivisection, and in support of socialism, vegetarianism, and the protection of wildflowers. As one of the founders of the Humanitarian League (1891-1919), he edited its publications The Humanitarian (1895-1919) and The Humane review (1900-1910). English author.
